South Korea fellowship for European journalists
Journalists and editors from the EU-27 can apply for a fellowship to visit South Korea.
The fellowship program, sponsored by the European Journalism Centre
and the Korea Press Foundation
, gives six EU journalists the opportunity to spend two weeks in the country and gain a better understanding of the country.
The program will feature a series of seminars led by specialists. Featured themes of the study trip include EU-Korea relations, the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement, the green growth policy and security.
Applicants must be EU-27 citizens, have at least five years experience working for an EU media outlet and be proficient in English. The fellowship covers flight expenses up to €500 (about US$715) as well as accommodation and local transportation.
